Changes in 2015

I read a report the other day that 1 out of every 6 people will change jobs in 2015.  In that same report, it noted the following reasons why people leave their jobs:

1 - Looking for more flexibility.
2 - Limited advancement opportunities exist in their current role.
3 - Need a change in the people they work with and for.
4 - Interested in a company with different perks.  (Work out facility was the number one thing noted.)
5 - Ready for a new challenge.

When I look at this list, what I find most interesting is that NONE of them are about money.  I see that people want to be appreciated, challenged and trusted by the companies they work for.  They also want to work with and for people who appreciate, challenge and trust them.  Let's face it, you could work for the best company in the world, but if you manager is not supportive and not focused on your development or your team is full of people you don't get along with, your job will not be fulfilling.

I know a few people without jobs who are looking.  I know a few people with jobs who are looking.  Finding the company, the manager and team that is perfect for you isn't always easy, but its possible!  For those of my friends and readers that ARE the 1 in 6, good luck and let me know how I can help you find what you are looking for; happiness, fulfillment and respect!
